The Lower Providence Fire Department consists of two firehouses and nine apparatus, which provide fire protection to the residents, businesses, and visitors of Lower Providence Township. The department also provides mutual aid to Collegeville, Trappe, and Norristown Boroughs as well as Upper Providence, Upper Merion, West Norriton, Worcester, East Norriton, Skippack, and Limerick Townships. We are a 100% volunteer organization which raises money through our Annual Firemen's Fair, Fund Drive, and other fundraising activities.
