The Lower Providence Fire Company is looking for interested and dedicated people to join the fire company to not only make a difference in your life, but in others' as well. The fire company welcomes members of all types and different duties. We not only need members to become active in firefighting efforts, but supportive efforts as well! A firehouse has a need for a wide variety of special skills that are sometimes difficult to come by in a volunteer atmosphere. Some of which might include mechanics, electricians, carpenters, truck drivers, or other hands on trades. Office or some "desk job" trades are also welcomed, such as accounting or financing. In addition, we are always looking for help with functions in the Chief's Hall, or during the annual Fireman's Fair. There are literally dozens of functions one could perform in the fire company, and we're asking YOU for your help!

We welcome you to come be a part of something special, to feel the camaraderie and pride that comes with working with peers that have a common goal and helping to make a difference in your community! If you're interested, fill out an application for membership and mail it in or drop it off at the main station located at Ridge Pike and E Mount Kirk Ave(diagonal to Genuardis).
