Tower 53

2020 Pierce Ascendant Tower Ladder
This state-of-the-art 100-foot aerial platform is essential for handling complex high-rise and elevated firefighting and rescue operations. The apparatus seats up to six firefighters, providing ample space for crew members. Tower 53 is equipped with comprehensive ventilation tools, allowing for effective control of smoke and heat during structure fires. It also carries Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) equipment, ensuring that the team is prepared for firefighter rescue operations, which is vital for ensuring safety during hazardous fireground situations.
  Rescue 53

2018 Sutphen Heavy Rescue
Strategically housed at Station A (Eagleville), Rescue 53 is a specialized vehicle designed to respond to technical rescue calls both within and outside the township. This apparatus can seat six crew members and is equipped with a complete Holmatro Rescue Tool System, providing essential hydraulic tools for vehicle extrications and other rescue scenarios. Additionally, it features Junkyard Dog Rescue Struts for stabilizing vehicles and collapsed structures, as well as a Paratech Shoring System, used to provide structural support during trench rescues or building collapses. Rescue 53 plays a critical role in complex rescue operations, from vehicle accidents to structural collapses.
 
Engine 53

2017 Sutphen Pumper
Engine 53 is the primary response vehicle for most incidents from Station 53 A, equipped with a powerful 1500 GPM Hale pump and a 750-gallon water tank. It carries four pre-connected handlines, ensuring a fast and efficient attack on fires. The apparatus seats six and includes a battery-powered Holmatro Combi-tool, a versatile hydraulic rescue tool used for cutting and spreading during vehicle extrications. The Junkyard Dog Rescue Struts on board ensure stability during rescue operations, making Engine 53 both a versatile fire suppression and rescue apparatus
  Squad 53

2002 KME Pumper
As the primary response unit from Station 53 B, Squad 53 is designed for quick action on a wide range of emergencies. With seating for seven firefighters, this apparatus is equipped with a 1500 GPM Hale pump and a 750-gallon tank. It features five pre-connected attack lines for rapid deployment during fire operations. The Squad also carries a Holmatro Rescue Tool System with two power units, a combi-tool, and an O-cutter, giving it robust rescue capabilities. Like other apparatus, it includes Junkyard Dog Rescue Struts for stability during technical rescues.
   
Pipeline 53

2002 KME Pumper
Pipeline 53 is an integral part of the Western Montgomery County LDH (Large Diameter Hose) Strike Team, designed to support large-scale firefighting operations requiring extended water supply. It can seat up to seven crew members and is equipped with a 1500 GPM pump and a 750-gallon water tank. With five pre-connected handlines, it provides excellent firefighting capabilities for various incident types. Pipeline 53’s role in regional water supply efforts makes it indispensable during incidents where sustained water flow is critical, such as large fires or mutual aid responses.

2018 Chevy Silverado HD
This versatile unit serves primarily in wildland firefighting, equipped with a skid pump unit and a 200-gallon water tank, making it ideal for navigating rough terrain and reaching areas inaccessible to larger fire engines. The 5-gallon foam tank enhances firefighting capability in brush fires, while its forestry hoses and tools ensure effective suppression of outdoor fires. Field 53 also plays a role in fire police operations, carrying assorted equipment to assist with incident management. Additionally, it is outfitted with a Western V-Plow for snow removal, ensuring all-weather operational readiness.
 

Utility 53

2024 Chevy Silverado HD
This unit serves as a personnel and equipment carrier. This unit has seating for 5. With an 8' coverd bed it allows personnel to keep equipment dry in wet weather. This also plays a role in fire police operations, carrying assorted equipment to assist with incident management. in the Audubon area. 

 

 

 
Car 53-1

2020 Ford Expedition (Fire Chief Vehicle)
Car 53-1 is equipped for command and control operations during fire and emergency incidents. It features an array of LED lighting for visibility and safety on the scene. A command board and other essential equipment allow the Fire Chief to efficiently manage incidents. In addition, the vehicle carries an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and a medical jump bag, making it ready for rapid response to medical emergencies.
  Car 53-2

2020 Ford Expedition (Duty Chief Vehicle)
Serving the on-duty chief, Car 53-2 is equipped with similar features to Car 53-1, including LED lighting, a command board, AED, and medical jump bag. This vehicle ensures that the duty chief can quickly respond to and oversee incidents, providing strategic direction and maintaining coordination with the crews on the ground.
 
Traffic 53

2022 Chevy Silverado 
Traffic 53 is specifically designed for traffic and crowd control at incident scenes, ensuring the safety of both responders and the public. It responds to calls both within and outside the township. The unit is stocked with reflective vests, radios, traffic cones, barricades, and other devices needed to manage traffic flow and secure the perimeter of emergency scenes. This vehicle plays a critical role in reducing congestion and creating safe working environments at incidents.
  Antique 53

1946 Oren/International
As the first new fire apparatus ever purchased by the department, Antique 53 holds a place of historical significance. While no longer in active service, this vintage vehicle serves as a proud reminder of the department’s long-standing tradition of service to the community. It is often showcased at public events, parades, and ceremonies, connecting the department’s past to its present.
