| Congratulations on 50 Years of Marriage to Steve and Susan Makowiak!
Firefighter/Operator Makowiak and his wife have not only dedicated themselves to each other but to lives of service to others.
Firefighter Makowiak has held numerous positions at Lower Providence including leading the Department as Fire Chief. He has returned to serve the community again in Lower Providence as a Driver/Operator an has provided mentorship to many of our members. Additionally, he is a Firefighter/Operator with the Trappe Fire Company No. 1 and the Perkiomen Township Fire Company where he also provides mentorship and responds to emergencies.
When asked about how he and his wife have been able to be this successful and committed to one another he said” Persistence, along with give and take”!
